How do I purchase a rug?

What are the prices?
Our rugs reflect weeks of hand labour and natural materials. Pricing varies based on size, construction, and complexity. Contact us for specific pricing. We respond to all genuine enquiries.
How long does production take?
Standard sizes: 6–8 weeks. Custom sizes: 8–12 weeks. Each rug is made to order by hand. We cannot rush this process — and we would not want to.
Are these rugs machine-made or handwoven?
Every rug is handwoven by artisans in Bhadohi, India. Each knot is tied by hand over several weeks. No machines are used in the weaving process.
Why are the edges irregular?
Irregular edges are evidence of handcraft, not defects. Human hands cannot replicate machine precision, and we do not try to. The irregularity is inherent to the process — it is the signature of a human maker.
Is the wool dyed?
No. We use undyed natural wool that retains its natural variation in tone and texture. Every rug carries subtle differences in colour — this is wool as it exists in nature.
Will the rug look exactly like the photo?
No two rugs are identical. Each is handwoven, which means variation in tension, slight colour differences, and edge irregularities. This is by nature of craft, not inconsistency.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide from Bhadohi, India. Shipping costs and timeline vary by destination. Contact us for a quote to your location.
Are custom sizes available?
Yes. We can weave rugs to custom dimensions. Contact us with your requirements and we will advise on feasibility and timeline.
Do you work with interior designers and hotels?
Yes. We collaborate with designers, architects, hospitality groups, and retail buyers on residential and commercial projects. Visit our Trade page or contact us directly to discuss your project.
What is the Soulcraft Passport?
Every custom RUH RUG is delivered with a Soulcraft Passport — a document recording the artisan, materials, region, and story behind the rug. It travels with the rug as its identity.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days only for structural faults or significant size discrepancy (±2–3 inches is normal for hand-woven work). We do not accept returns based on colour variation, asymmetry, or natural material characteristics. These are inherent to handmade rugs — and we describe them fully before purchase.
Can damaged rugs be repaired?
Yes. We offer lifetime repair service for structural damage. Objects made by hand should be mendable by hand. Contact us for assessment.
